When you start planning your wedding you will no doubt be bombarded with recommendations & suggestions on all of your suppliers! So we have put some tips together from our very own JTR Photography! This team has worked at the hotel a few times now & knows all the best spots for those perfect wedding day photos! Here are their top tips for working with your wedding photographer!

Organise a 'final' meeting with your photographer!

The JTR team always organises a meeting with their clients prior to their big day, but not all photographers do! Make sure you get in touch with your photographer before the wedding go over details like the order of the day etc.

Create a list of key people!

Make a list of all the people you absolutely must get a picture with! It can get a little chaotic in the celebrations and it's easy to miss someone. Plan this list ahead of time, along with any group shots or fun poses you would like to try!

Keep us in the know!

If you are planning a specific surprise or moment (singing waiters or a gift to your other half etc.) make sure your photographer knows. We know you want it to be a surprise, but if we don't know we may miss it, and we promise we can keep the secret to make sure its a surprise!

It's in the details...

I always do this, but some may not so make sure you ask your photographer to capture little details! Whether it be the prep beforehand or details in your reception. This not only captures lovely candids of your guests, but also meaningful details you may have added to the decor!
